From Your Director of Missions. . . April/May 09 Newsletter
As I look out the window of my office, I see the azaleas beginning to bloom, the grass beginning to turn green again, a reminder of new life. As we approach Easter, we are reminded of the new life given through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. Let’s celebrate the great joy of the new life we enjoy in Christ.
Our semi-annual meeting is only a week away. We have planned both an informational and inspirational meeting. We have wonderful leadership and our directors will be sharing their ministry accomplishments and also the new
challenges as we face the future in our association.
Recently, one of our treasurers expressed interest in some training to help them more effectively perform their duties. We have now scheduled a new conference for your treasurer to answer specific questions. This training will be available on September 24th at 7 pm at the association office. Inform your treasurer of this opportunity.
Summer will be approaching quickly. Things slow down during the summer as people are given opportunity to get away and enjoy some quality time with their families. I hope that each of you will have a wonderful summer. If we can be of assistance in any way, give us a call. It is a joy to serve as your director of missions.
